Required Qualifications :

What You’d Be Responsible for:

-          Review customers’ specifications for content and completeness and incorporate specific requirements as applicable in the cost estimate

-          Initiate and organize systematic files for storage of all job-related hard-copies or electronic files

-          Maintain methodical MS Excel files for computation, storage, and summarization of estimated data

-          Interpret proposal drawings and performance proposal information as a basis for determining cost

-          Correspond with various departments requesting additional information where necessary to complete the cost estimate

-          Work closely with proposal engineers/ managers and advise proposal engineers/ managers of any discrepancies or additional information required to complete the estimate

-          Review the estimate with management for scope, completeness, sourcing, conformity, and accuracy

-          Prepare information required for management presentation(s) as needed

-          Participate in project kickoff meetings

-          Prepare proposal estimate and assist project controls to issue project budget



The right candidate for this position must have verification of a minimum 2-year technical degree & certifications, as well as previous field experience in material handling or conveyor installation. 

We Require the following from You:

-          Must have previous material handling and/or conveyor field experience

-          2-year technical degree or 2-3 years’ work experience in lieu of degree

-          Detail-oriented with the ability to read detailed drawings including bill of materials

-          Computer literacy in spreadsheets and word processing

-          Excellent math, computer, and analytical skills

-          Good organizational and time management skills

-          Strong verbal and written communication skills

-          Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and meet strict deadlines

-          Creative problem-solving skills

-          Proficient in Microsoft Office & Autocad
