Position Overview:

IMI is looking for an experienced Project Manager for its upcoming material handling projects, the ideal manager will have previous experience in construction and warehouse management. Additionally, the program manager would ideally be a highly organized individual, with the ability to multitask and plan to maintain budget and project efficiency.

You may be responsible for the following:

-          Delivering complex project/program plans and delegating responsibilities.

-          Developing and Managing plan budgets and business plans for functional areas.

-          Troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.

-          Facilitating the implementation of continuous project improvement.

-          Conducting regular site checks to ensure efficiency and monitor progress.

-          Determining the material, necessary equipment and manpower needed.

-          Ensuring all deadlines are met.



Required Qualifications :


The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field. An Advanced degree is considered an asset.   

Worksites can be dangerous, so in order to ensure your safety at all times, we require you always possess a hard hat, steel-toe boots, work gloves, safety vest, and work goggles


We Require the Following from You:

-          Between 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a related field.

-          Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.

-          Previous experience managing construction projects and budgets.

-          Previous experience in construction management and material handling.

-          PMP certification or an equivalent will be considered an asset.

-          Understanding of construction management processes.

-          Demonstrating an understanding of supervisory approaches for work direction and disciplinary action.

-          Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
