What You’d Be Handling:
Your daily responsibilities will include candidate recruitment within our temporary, temp-to-hire and contract services division. In this role, you will source, screen, evaluate, interview and select candidates for employment on available temporary, temp-to-hire and contract staffing assignments. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition and Executive teams to understand and meet the staffing needs of our client employers. You will also ensure a smooth transition and satisfactory performance of candidates in the employer’s workforce.


Locate Talent:

  • Research and evaluate prospective candidates utilizing various internet channels; referral networking; direct recruiting; resume database; etc.

  • Attend networking and industry events, as required, to meet with and expand contacts with employers and candidates

  • Analyze employer hiring needs for a particular position(s), monitor application activity, and craft effective communications with candidates.

  • Build and develop relationships with potential candidates, qualified candidates, and hired employees.


Interview and Hire Talent:

  • Schedule interviews with candidates to discuss and evaluate their background, experience, skills, and qualifications.

  • Administer background and drug tests, as required, and evaluate the suitability of employment.

  • Manages new employee relocations by coordinating schedules, arrange travel and lodging, assist with directions to job sites, etc.


Maintain Candidate Database:

  • Manage and maintain employer and candidate contacts using our proprietary database.

  • Document any phone calls, text messages, emails or all other correspondence with candidates/ employees.

  • Manage all documentation and compliance paperwork and upload it into a proprietary database.


Some other tasks you’ll be taking care of consist of:

  • Develop and maintain relationships in the business community to sustain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Analyze and communicate with the executive team on all aspects of the hiring and employment processes.

  • Conduct market analysis and provide the Executive team with recommendations on industry pay rates, competitors, unemployment rates, etc.

  • Work with the team to evaluate a client’s work environments and culture to maintain a current understanding of both the content and context of the employer's hiring needs.

  • Keep up-to-date on recruitment trends and best practices.


Regarding the Office Management and Administration aspect of your job:

You’ll be providing support in dealing and responding to correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries. You’ll manage risk by following compliance routines, processes and controls to protect client and shareholder interests and maintain various databases, records, and reports. There will also be ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects assigned once in a while.

Required Qualifications :


We’re Looking for These Kind of Credentials:

  • Experience in a Staffing Agency the environment is an asset, but not required

  • 3 - 5 years of the previous customer service experience

  • A designation or postgraduate degree preferred

  • Ability to work independently and without supervision

  • Ability to interact cooperatively within a team atmosphere

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge of server-based applicant tracking systems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Effective time management skills that allow you to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Goal-oriented personality with superior work ethic, a tenacious attitude and ability to learn quickly

  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential and delicate employee information

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively

  • Ability to travel is an asset, but not required
