**Site Assistant **
Must be local to Bridgeport, NJ



** The candidate must be comfortable traveling to and working a location for the project period. If the resource does well, they will move to the next project when their current project ends. The goal is to find good candidates who can go perm in these roles. **



Responsibilities:


Site Assistant – Administrative Assistant to field supervisor is an individual who may be stationed at a project site (not remote) to assist the supervisor with certain specific administrative functions. Site Assistants will be assigned/hired at the discretion of corporate installation management. There may be up to 2 assistants per project (Mechanical and Electrical). An assistant will require their own tablet or laptop as well as an email address (use of Supervisor’s device/email by assistant is prohibited). Site Assistants are required to complete training conducted by Site Assistant Trainer and adhere to the guidelines below related to duties/responsibilities. There may be additional onsite project duties to perform as needed per the Supervisor based on the needs of the project.



Conduct 100% Inventory count of all shipments.
Utilize the Inventory Management program Clear Spider to Receive, Manage, Distribute, and Complete inventory control measures for assigned project.
Maintain Equipment/ Parts Staging area for quick and efficient distribution to Installation teams.
Write up reports detailing the status of Inventory on hand and or shortages as requested by supervision.




Printing of Device labels and asset tags for Installation teams.
Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety standards as set forth by HSE and Project Site leaders.


Candidates for this position should have the ability to:
Work independently without direct supervision.
Have a willingness to learn and adopt new standards associated with role.
Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.


Need a reliable candidate to handle the job-site inventory, counting parts, recording data, updating spreadsheets and other administrative duties. Although this is an admin type of role, this person will be working inside the facility (warehouse/construction environment) and will be required to wear steel toe boots and other PPE provided by Honeywell. Part of their duties will include stocking shelves and well as general cleaning.


The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Computer Skills
- Familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
- Organizational skills
- Detailed oriented
- Previous inventory experience preferred.


Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
